Five-star reviews for Jake: Cat In A Tree

Editorial Review:

"I was happy to discover that even with the descriptive sex scenes, this book had a plot I quickly became engaged in. Each character is fully developed and could be someone who lives next door to me. I commend the author for their tasteful writing of the sexual content. Although descriptive, it is more toned down than what can be found in some books of this nature. 5 out of 5 stars. Each book in this series focuses on a different firefighter, and I look forward to reading more of them." -Bertha J, Online Book Club.org

Jacqueline Eschenlohr - Fabulous read!

Character development fun and incredibly engaging. You can't wait to find out what happens next! Quick, easy, must have read. Looking forward to book 2 in the series.

Erin Smith - Good old-fashioned romance novel

This is a super quick read and has everything I want in a romance novel. Steamy scenes, fun characters, a little bit of tension and a happy ending. I really liked how Jake & Sarah got together and enjoyed the book all the way through.

Pepper - A steamy, fun read!

It's a short, cheeky book but well written and with fun characters. The perfect escape read when time is short!

Belle - Great read

So sweet! I'm kind of picky in my romance - I don't like super angsty, or miscommunications that could so easily be fixed if they talked, or alpha-holes, or weird power-dynamics. This book is absolutely five stars for me. There are a few things written that the POV character shouldn't know, and it is short (which is fine as long as you realize that ahead of time I think!), but none of that overpowered the really well-written romance. Sweet, fun, and you get to root for the MCs the whole time (no being weirdly mad at one and trying to decide if you forgive them). I really liked this and recommend it as a fun read!

Era Carroll - Sweet and Tender

Fantastic story with just the right amount of spice as two strangers meet cute through Chiff the cat in a tree. Rough beginnings and misunderstandings ensue leading to one incredibly sensuous hookup. This book is funny, sexy, and fresh air for those that love adult natured material. Great book.

Jalene Szuba - Sizzling!

Loved the modern storyline with the characters AND the sex scenes (the real reason why we all read these novels). These books are well written with VERY descriptive scenes, you feel you are in it. But still are easy reads and great for the beach or a snowy day. If you are looking for a modern take on the harlequin genre, pick one of these up and ENJOY!

EK - Hot Stuff!

These stories are intelligently written so they are enjoyable to read. The scenes are well described and you can visualize them. Bonus is the steamy sex scenes that are what the industry needs!

Mark H - My wife made me read it

And I'm glad she did. The story is fun and quick, and I got a glimpse of why romance novels are so popular. Can I live up to the fantasy firefighter? Who knows, but if it makes her happy, I'm game. Now, onto book two, with some beefcake dancing the tango.

Crystal Vranich - Heartwarming short story

Jake and Sarah meet when Miss Chiff decides to climb a tree and cannot get down. One misunderstanding at the fire station has them parting ways before they give in to the sizzle growing between them. After a brawl, Jake and his firefighting crewed up at Sarah’s hot yoga class. A second chance is all Jake needs. Wonderful story. Nice steam. Great read.
